Politicians on a local and national level in the Netherlands have decried the violent protests that have broken out in several cities and towns since an anti-COVID curfew was imposed on Saturday, January 23.

More than 180 people were arrested in the latest disturbances, on Monday night, local reports said.

This footage was shot after a protest against the curfew turned violent in Eindhoven on January 24. Dozens of arrests were made on the day, RTL reported, with another 190 arrests in Amsterdam, they said.
