Heavy snow accumulated in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, on Saturday, January 2, after Canada’s weather bureau issued warnings for the province’s southern region.

Footage shared by Nancy Vadeboncoeur shows her two 20-year-old horses, Dante and Sunshine, roaming around the ranch’s white field and nuzzling against the snow.

On Saturday, Environment and Climate Change Canada reported up to 15 centimetres of snowfall over southern Quebec. Temperatures were expected to rise over the following few days, but no snow melting was expected. Credit: Nancy Vadeboncoeur via Storyful
