Air Tanker Drops Retardant on Cottonwood Trail Fire in Southern Utah

The Cottonwood Trail Fire in Washington County, Utah, expanded to 3,000 acres and was 10 percent contained by Sunday night, July 19, Utah Fire Info stated.

Earlier on Sunday, portions of Interstate 15 were closed, while evacuation orders for residents in Harrisburg were lifted, according to local media.

Officials said three large air tankers, four helicopters, and 30 fire engines were deployed to help battle the blaze.
