A resident of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district who had suffered a stroke was airlifted to a hospital in Jammu. Wazir Hussain was airlifted by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans on April 05. He was resident of Panjgrain village in Rajouri district. CRPF has also extended help to Wazir's son Arif, who after hearing the news about his father, took off on a bicycle from Mumbai for his native place in Rajouri. There are total 112 confirmed cases of coronavirus in J-K including two deaths and four cured. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 3666 in India and 109 deaths.
