Bluebells bloom in Belgium woodland

STORY: After the short bloom, leaves begin to grow on the beech trees above them, blocking the sunlight from reaching the flowers and giving visitors a very short window of time to witness the ethereal scene.

"If we have a morning fog or shafts of light, it is just wonderful. It is a fairytale forest,” said Ottignies Resident Nathalie Annoye, a professional photographer.
