Goldberg apology 'not enough' - Yad Vashem

Yad Vashem an Israeli memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.

Goldberg, who co-hosts ABC's U.S. talk show The View said on Monday (January 31) that the Holocaust was about man's inhumanity to man and involved "two white groups of people".

The Oscar-winning actress later apologized saying, "On today's show, I said the Holocaust 'is not about race, but about man's inhumanity to man'. I should have said it is about both."

Yad Vashem chairman Dani Dayan acknowledged Goldberg's apology as "important" but said she should visit the memorial to educate herself about the Holocaust.
