Attorney General Letitia James Booed During FDNY Ceremony

New York Attorney General Letitia James was heckled as she delivered a speech at a New York City Fire Department (FDNY) promotion ceremony on Thursday, March 7.

Footage posted by the FDNY shows James met with boos as she approached the podium at the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon. James asked the crowd to “simmer down” before beginning the speech.

According to local reports, the crowd’s reaction to James was due to a civil lawsuit ruling in mid-February that ordered Donald Trump, his company and executives to pay $355M in penalties for lying about his wealth.
