Heavy snow blanketed Great Falls and much of north-central Montana on Sunday, November 8. A blizzard warning was in effect through 6 am Monday morning, with 40 to 60 mph wind gusts causing near-zeo visibility, KRTV reported.

The snow forced school closures, dangerous road conditions and widespread power outages, the report said. The National Weather Service warned drivers of icy and snow-covered roadways.
