The prince visited a secondary school in the Ocean View township where he participated in a rugby coaching session with The Atlas Foundation.

It is a charity working to address child poverty that was founded by former English rugby player Jason Leonard.

Retired South Africa World Cup winner Tendai Mtawarira, nicknamed "The Beast," also took part in the coaching session.

The Prince Of Wales is making the trip alone as his wife Kate is still managing a return to work after finishing a course of preventative chemotherapy for cancer.

During his visit to South Africa since 2010, William will also attend a global wildlife summit and will meet President Cyril Ramaphosa.
