Kate Middleton wears pink to meet young girl with cancer

The Duchess of Cambridge met a brave 5-year-old girl with cancer at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland on Thursday. Mila Sneddon was one of the finalists for Kate’s ‘Hold Still: A Portrait of Our Nation in 2020’ – which captures life in lockdown in Britain. Her mother Lynda took the touching photograph, showing Mila being shielded from her father and sister while undergoing chemotherapy treatment for leukaemia. The iconic image went viral instantly. Kate wore a beautiful pink dress for the occasion, after promising to wear the colour during their phone conversation last autumn. The Sneddon family spoke of their joy after meeting the Duchess.
