City Island 'Under Water' After Coastal Storm Hits The Bronx

A Bronx neighborhood was hit with heavy coastal flooding during a storm on Wednesday, April 3.

Footage filmed and posted to TikTok by Sabrina Fontana shows large waves crashing into a residence on City Island, submerging the porch under water. Fontana’s dog, Chief, is seen watching the waves from the door.

“If I opened the back door, he would’ve went and played in the waves,” Fontana told Storyful.
