Members of Last Generation, a climate-activist group in Germany, glued themselves to a runway at the Munich International Airport on Thursday, December 8, to protest German aviation subsidies, the group said.

Local police said they quickly cleared the blockade and restored flight operations within an hour. The department condemned the “intrusion into the security area of ​​the airport.”
