A goat hitched a ride on a horse in a unique display of friendship on a farm in British Columbia, Canada, recently posted footage shows.

This video, taken by Aimee Kootnikoff, shows her goat Arret standing on top of her horse Bouge’s back as the horse walks along.

Kootnikoff told Castanet that the pair started riding around together a couple of weeks ago, and Arret even lies down on Bouge’s back.

“It seems like the amount of time [Arret] is spending on [Bouge] is increasing. So [Bouge is] definitely enjoying it. [Arret will] paw his back a little bit, and then he’ll lie down and just start taking a little nap. It’s super sweet,” Kootnikoff said.

In another video, the goat’s method of mounting can be seen, as he leaps off a hay bale onto Bouge’s back.

Kootnikoff told CBC that “Arret uses Bouge to reach food from high-up tree branches and Bouge enjoys a back massage from Arret’s hooves.” Credit: Aimee Kootnikoff via Storyful
