A “friendly” dog that fell down some seaside cliffs in Cornwall was rescued by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) on March 29.

Footage released by the RNLI shows a launch from Fowey lifeboat station to rescue Bob, a chocolate Labrador, after local coastguard services said he fell around 70 feet down the cliffs at Portmellon.

The crew at Fowey lifeboat station was called around 4:40 pm local time on March 29, the RNLI said.

An all-weather lifeboat was launched, with the crew using an inflatable to get close to Bob.
