A 47-year-old woman fell from the fourth floor window of a burning building in Cedeira, Spain, on Saturday, April 16, and was safely caught in a blanket held out by people below. The dramatic rescue was captured on video by José Antonio Vázquez Martínez.

According to local reports, the woman was treated for smoke inhalation in a nearby hospital. The local civil protection service reportedly advised others not to jump out of buildings in the event of a fire, but to close doors, plug them with damp towels or cloths, and breathe out an open window until firefighters arrive.
