Earthquake Knocks Produce Off Supermarket Shelves in Zagreb

A magnitude-6.4 earthquake hit Croatia on Tuesday, December 29, the second earthquake to rock the country in as many days.

The European Mediterranean Seismological Center said the earthquake struck southeast of Zagreb about 11:20 am local time.

Local reports said at least one person had been killed on Tuesday – a 12-year-old girl who died in Petrinja.

Initial reports said the earthquake caused widespread damage. This footage shows produce on the floor in a supermarket in Zagreb.
