Storm Khanun developed into a typhoon flooding parts of the Philippines and its capital city on July 30.

Live CCTV footage broadcasted by Meycauayan City shows the extent of the flooding across a range of local neighborhoods.

On July 31 the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned of heavy rains, floods and landslides in the mountainous areas of the country.

Khanun, also known as Falcon, intensified and became a typhoon Sunday night.
