Argentines protest after the death of a demonstrator

STORY: Morales collapsed while he was being detained during a protest against the upcoming primary elections on Thursday (August 10), and later died in a local hospital, in Buenos Aires, according to local media.

The protester died on Thursday of a heart attack, the head of government of the city of Buenos Aires and presidential candidate for Juntos por el Cambio, Horacio Rodriguez Larreta said.

Argentina will hold primary elections on Sunday (August 13), a nationwide ballot that will act as a giant voter poll ahead of general elections in October, with many people angry or apathetic over triple-digit inflation and rising poverty.
