STORY: The Brazilian LGBT+ community took to the streets after two years of holding virtual events due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The rally started with a protest outside Brazilian Congress and was marked by loud music, rainbow flags, and dancing people.

"We are here in the centre of Brazil's executive power to reaffirm our rights. We go to the street, and we will not go back to the closet," drag queen Mary Gambiarra told Reuters.
