Budapest's Christmas markets open for vaccinated

This week, Budapest's traditional Christmas markets opened for the vaccinated, attracting lots of tourists and locals.

Visitors were lining up at checkpoints and showing their vaccination or immunity certificates before entering the market, as required by current regulations.

Serbian Tourist Miroslav Grujic says the measure helped him feel safe: "I think it is a good idea because we must think about our health, and global health"

But other locals argued that mandated mask wearing should be introduced because of the size of the crowds.
