Coast of Northern Ireland Battered by Storm Dudley Waves

Waves crashed against the harbor in Portstewart, Northern Ireland, on Wednesday, February 16, as Storm Dudley lashed coastal parts of the country, along with Scotland and northern England.

An amber weather warning was in place on Wednesday as the Met Office recorded strong winds. In north Wales, wind gusts of 81 mph had been recorded by Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile, Storm Eunice was forecast to bring strong winds to southern and central areas of the UK, as well as some snow for northern areas early on Friday, February 18.
