Recovery efforts were seen in Ahrweiler, Germany, on July 19 where at least 117 people have been killed by flooding, officials say.

In the district, 12,000 litres of water were being pumped out of a flooded underground car park, where it is believed people may have became trapped while attempting to access their cars, according to Sky News.
