Flash Flooding Impacts Alabama as State Hit by Multiple Tornadoes

Northern Alabama experienced flash flooding on Wednesday, March 17, as most of the state was threatened by tornadoes, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Video released by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office shows flooded roadsides and heavy rain in the town of Somerville.

The NWS announced multiple flooding reports on Wednesday ahead of greater rainfall and heightened flood risk in the evening.
