German Dog Helps Owner With Kitchen Chores

A family from the town of Lehmrade in northern Germany boast the luxury of having a pet that can help out with household chores, footage posted by the pet owner on Instagram shows.

The footage, filmed by Luca Neumann and posted to Instagram on January 7, features a seven-year-old German pinscher named Amelie filling her owners’ dishwasher with cutlery.

“We started to train her tricks when she was two years old, which means that she learned a lot,” Neumann told Storyful.

“There’re some tricks which took really a long time to teach her, but this one with the dishes was quite easy for her to understand,” he added. Credit: Luca Neumann via Storyful
