STORY: On Wednesday (December 7), 25 suspected followers of the Reichsbuerger and QAnon scene were arrested in nationwide raids in Germany, Austria and Italy. They are accused of planning a coup and of wanting to replace the government with their own.
The fact that members of the judiciary, the armed forces and the police are also alleged to have been involved showed that state institutions were not free of conspiracy theory followers, said Dittrich.
