Yahoo TV Havana Skate Marathon draws hundreds of skaters

STORY: The marathon took them on several laps at the Havana's iconic Malecon and Prado Avenue, with an 8-kilometer (4.9-mile) course for children and the usual 42-kilometer (26-mile) circuit for adults.
The event included other categories such as skatecross, speed and jumping, and street hockey.
World Skate, the governing body for skateboarding and roller sports, will now include the Havana Skate Marathon in the organization's international calendar.
Colombian skate Alex Cujavante said the event is a great showcase for skating.
