Powerful winds caused damage to homes in Cape Coral as Hurricane Ian neared landfall in west Florida on Wednesday, September 28.
Footage from resident Dale Suslick shows roofing that enclosed his neighbor’s swimming pool ripped away by the force of the winds. Suslick later said his own “pool cage”, or lanai, had been “deconstructed” by the storm. Credit: Dale Suslick via Storyful
