Yahoo TV India's Modi Lands in New York for State Visit

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in New York on Tuesday, June 20, kicking off a four-day diplomatic visit to the United States.
Modi said the visit “is a reflection of the vigour and vitality of the partnership between [United States and India’s] democracies.”
“This visit will be an opportunity to enrich the depth and diversity of our partnership,” Modi said in a statement, pointing to the economic and people-to-people ties between India and the US.
