Myanmar protesters mark 100 days since coup

The protesters, mostly students and teachers, marched in Pyigyidagun township of southern Mandalay in the early hours of Wednesday. Video obtained by Reuters showed demonstrators holding National League for Democracy (NLD) flags and flashing three-finger salutes in defiance of the military junta.

An eyewitness who filmed the video said that plainclothes security forces later surrounded demonstrators, arresting 30 people and seizing vehicles.
