Police Help Man Propose to Girlfriend at Toledo Mall Ahead of Valentine's Day

Police officers at an Ohio mall were approached for help by a hopeless romantic who wanted to surprise his girlfriend with a proposal on February 7.

According to the Toledo Police Department, Sergeant Taylor and Officer Cairl were working at Franklin Park Mall when the man asked them to assist him with his plan.

“The officers of course obliged and pretended to stop the man who was walking with his girlfriend. When the couple stopped, the man got down on one knee and proposed marriage. She said yes,” the department said in a Facebook post.
