A group of artists mounted a series of satirical installations in Portland, Oregon, on August 3, creating a “living statue” of US President Donald Trump taking a selfie as a protester is pulled into a van, among other tableaux.

The artists, known as the Trump Statue Initiative, placed three temporary installations along the city’s Waterfront Park as part of an exhibition criticizing President Trump and his policies.

This footage, shared by the group, shows several living statues depicting the president with federal agents as well as an installation mocking the president’s alleged links to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

The performance-art pieces were unveiled in three “acts” as military veterans read out quotes by President Trump discussing Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the group’s website. Credit: Trump Statue Initiative via Storyful
