Radioactive capsule 'should never have been lost'

STORY: Western Australian state authorities announced on Wednesday (February 1) that they had found the missing radioactive capsule – smaller than a coin – after scouring an 870-mile stretch of highway.

The radioactive capsule was part of a gauge used to measure the density of iron ore feed from Rio Tinto's Gudai-Darri mine.

People had been told to stay away if they spotted it, as exposure could cause radiation burns or radiation sickness.
