Heavy rain and strong wind lashed parts of southern Texas, on October 27, amid severe thunderstorm warnings.

This footage, filmed by Twitter user @danallan_2, shows and intense storm sweeping through the city of Mont Belvieu on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the region, warning of penny-sized hail and wind gusts of up to 60mph.
