STORY: Special vehicle and personnel with metal detectors can be seen in the video. The ministry said that robotic demining complex “Uran-6” was widely used in the process. It also said that sappers cleared out over 31 miles of the shoreline and neutralized over 300 different projectiles.

Russia last week gained full control of Mariupol, after Ukraine had ordered the last defenders of Azovstal steelworks that had been holed up for weeks in the plant to stand down and get out to save their lives. The fighters who barricaded themselves into the tunnels surrendered to Russian and pro-Russian forces.

Full control of Mariupol gives Russia command of a land route linking the Crimean Peninsula, which Moscow seized in 2014, with mainland Russia and parts of eastern Ukraine held by pro-Russia separatists.
