Sacramento Zoo in California welcomed a newborn giraffe calf to their herd on Sunday, January 22, the zoo said on Facebook.

Footage shared on Tuesday shows the unnamed female calf being looked after by its mother, Shani, shortly after the birth on Sunday.

The zoo said on Facebook that the newborn female was the 21st giraffe to be born there since 1954.
