Thousands of residents in Virginia Beach, Virginia, were left without power after storms brought flash flooding to the area on August 10, 13NewsNow reported.

At least 6,320 customers in Virginia Beach lost power on Wednesday afternoon, 13NewsNow said.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning on Wednesday, asking residents to move to higher ground and to avoid driving and walking through floodwater.
