Traffic Jammed for Hours on Texas Interstate as Ice Wreaks Havoc on Roads

Icy roads led to multiple crashes on Interstate 10 near Kerrville, Texas, on the morning of February 4, with some motorists reporting a wait of over 12 hours to pass through the gridlock.

The Kerrville Police Department said travel in the area was “risky,” and asked the public to stay home unless there is an emergency.

Police worked to assist with multiple crashes, and to help clear stuck cars along the interstate.
