Ukraine's Zelenskiy meets UK defense secretary in Kyiv

STORY: At the meeting, Shapps and Zelenskiy discussed beefing up air defenses in Ukraine amid fears that Russia will use long-range missiles and drones to target critical energy infrastructure in the depths of winter, a statement released by the president's office said.

Britain this year supplied Storm Shadow cruise missiles that have allowed Ukraine to conduct long-range strikes on targets in Russian-occupied territory.

Ukraine's intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov and British Chief of the Defence Staff Tony Radakin were also present at the meeting.
