A 200-acre fire in Redmond, Oregon, forced evacuations and road closures across the city on Tuesday, June 29, after a smaller brush fire broke out earlier in the day, local media reported.

On Tuesday afternoon, Redmond Municipal Airport was closed and evacuations were expanded, according to city officials.

This footage filmed by Central Oregon Fire Info shows an air tanker dropping fire retardant near the Redmond Air Center.
