The National Weather Service issued a flash flood emergency for Oxford and other parts of Connecticut until Sunday evening.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation said that the flooding had “devastating consequences” on infrastructure in the state, with more than 25 roads closed as of Monday afternoon.
