Welcome! The Snack Shack offers free cat and dog food to those in need on the second Saturday of each month from 11-1. This is done at the Salvation Army Family Store. If you need the food, you can have the food. There is no need to sign any forms or bring your pet along to prove you need food. It is donated by community members and we never know what brands we'll get or how much. The organization is run by all volunteers. If you would like to help, you can volunteer to bag food or work the distribution table and your help would be most appreciated! You can also help best by donating clean gallon Ziploc bags and cat or dog food. Just mark SSS on the bags and drop it off at the Joplin Humane Society and tell them "This is for Snowflake" and they will put it on our storage shelf.
