Azores Storm Sees Marina Tent Collapse From High Winds

Severe storms hit the Azores on June 16, causing flooded roads, uprooted trees and structural damage across the Praia da Vitoria area.

Joao Pedro Nogueira Dinis was at the Marina Praia da Vitoria when winds picked up and started to lift one of the outdoor tents off the ground.

Dinis took out his phone and filmed as the tent was carried into midair, before slamming back onto the ground, with the structure ultimately left severely damaged by the high-speed wind. Credit: Joao Pedro Nogueira Dinis via Storyful
