Hello, Gourd-geous! Utah Farm Harvests Pumpkin Patch Ahead of Halloween

A farm in Ogden, Utah, has its Halloween preparations well underway as it harvests its pumpkin patch in the lead-up to spooky season.

Colorful drone footage, captured by Justin McFarland on September 10, shows workers at McFarland Family Farms tending to their bountiful and beautiful festive crops.

McFarland told Storyful that a variety of gourds – known as an “heirloom super mix” – is what gives the footage its range of color, and that no additional pigment was used in making the video.

“This decorative crop comes in all colors, just in time for autumn season decorations, and fall colors. And yes, those are blue pumpkins,” he said. Credit: Justin McFarland via Storyful
