The New Jersey Attorney General, Gurbir Singh Grewal, released traffic camera and police bodycam footage of the moment two shooters entered a Jewish grocery in Jersey City, New Jersey, on December 10, 2019, with their guns raised.

Video from traffic cameras on Martin Luther King Jr Drive, security footage from an area business, and a police bodycam show two figures exiting a white van opposite the grocery before raising their weapons and walking toward the door, prompting people on the street to flee.

One person is seen running from the store moments after the suspects enter.

The pair engaged in a four-hour shootout with police before being killed. Police said the suspects fatally shot Jersey City Police Department Officer Joseph Seals at a nearby cemetery before killing three people inside the grocery store.

Mayor of Jersey City Steven Fulop said the suspects had “targeted” the kosher grocery, but said there was “zero indication” that they were Muslim, as had been speculated. Credit: New Jersey Attorney General’s Office via Storyful
