Mexico's Popocatepetl Volcano Sends Column of Ash and Smoke Into Sky

The Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico sent a plume of smoke and ash into the air on February 26, during a 24-hour period of elevated activity that prompted officials to issue a yellow warning for the area.

Footage shot from the nearby town of San Nicolás de los Ranchos Puebla shows a column of smoke and ash shoot into the sky from the volcano’s center.
