Nor'easter Floods Hoboken, New Jersey

Streets in Hoboken, New Jersey, were flooded on Tuesday, October 26, as a powerful nor’easter lashed the region with wind and heavy precipitation.

Several inches of rain fell in parts of New York City and northern New Jersey on Tuesday. The City of Hoboken declared a state of emergency, warning residents against driving or walking through floodwaters.

Less than two months ago, the city and nearby areas suffered significant flooding when remnants of Hurricane Ida passed through the Northeast. Thirty people were killed in New Jersey during the storm.
