Orphaned Kangaroo Joeys Line Up for Feeding Time at Victoria Wildlife Shelter

Orphaned kangaroo joeys at Our Haven Wildlife Shelter in Golden Beach, Victoria, Australia, lined up for an adorable synchronized feeding on January 27, courtesy of wildlife carer Theresa Matthews.

According to Matthews, she fed 23 young kangaroos that morning. The joeys featured in this video posted to Facebook were orphaned due to road accidents, Matthews said.

Matthews, who owns and runs the Our Haven Wildlife Shelter with her husband, told Storyful, “I was home on my own as my husband was called to a rescue for an injured kangaroo. So I was left to feed 23 joeys … on my own.” Judging by the speed of the joeys shown feeding from the milk contraption the shelter uses, it couldn’t have taken too long.
