A tanker plane dropped fire retardant over smoking trees in Glen Davis, New South Wales, on November 19, as the Gospers Mountain fire spread to the area.

Video recorded by Mike Jessop shows pilots working to suppress the bushfire, which began in the Wollemi and Yengo national parks.

The blaze has burned more than 143,000 hectares (about 353,360 acres) of land so far, according to the ABC.
