Members of London’s Metropolitan Police stood hand-in-hand to cordon off demonstrators at Oxford Circus on Friday, April 19, stopping more people from joining a climate change protest.

The Extinction Rebellion group was staging what it described as an “international week of rebellion,” calling for increased action on climate change.
