Thomas Cook passengers at the Eftalia Marin hotel in Antalya, Turkey, collected money for the Thomas Cook rep on site on Monday, Septemeber 23, after the company went bust earlier that day.

Nathan Walsh, one of the affected guests, captured video of the moment. Walsh told Storyful that, though the holiday rep had behaved professionally throughout, the hotel staff were initially “very hostile” and threatened to “lock customers out of their rooms.”

Walsh said the issue was later resolved for most guests. Other guests at Eftalia hotels reported similar issues.
